This was my first attempt at baking brownies at 8500 feet. Everything was fine until I put them in the oven...wish I would have taken a video! The brownies rose about six inches..and were 'breathing' so hard that the pan was moving! After the usual 25 min of baking, I took them out - they promptly sank to about 1/4 inch high. Pretty pathetic! They are so doughy, but we are still eating them. Chocolate is chocolate, no matter what it looks like, right?! I need a tutorial on high altitude baking!

haha I have learned my cooking/baking skills from the best. Whenever a smoke alarm goes off I wash my hands for dinner :)
that's funny! chewy brownies are good though!
